Join Opportunity Canada/Brasil and First Class Football Academy for 10 hours with our special guest Carlos Pimenta. Carlos is a football coach with one of Brasil's most famous clubs Sport Club Corinthians Paulista and will be joining is for 10 hours to share his methodology of football.
In this session players will have 4 hours of training at Central Lions gymnasium in order to work on the fundamentals of Futsal. A game played around the world that has been better known for the players it has created on the 11 a side game. After two days of Futsal we will have a 6 hour session at the Karl Weidle Soccer Center to put our futsal training in to action with 11 a side training!
Creating a better understanding of space and time is essential. Whether you have a great touch or not, time and space determines your success and with Futsals fast paced style of play means players will touch the ball more and forced to stay constantly engaged in the game. The field is smaller and the game is faster which forces players to have think at a higher level. All this benefits a player when going back to 11 a side. Now with the understanding of space in a small space a regular size field should allow for a player to have more time.
Opportunity Canada/Brasil would also like to offer the opportunity to go play and train with Carlos in Orlando, Florida USA for the International Disney Football Cup! Players whom attend this program will have the chance to be selected to make an Opportunity Canada team to go compete in Disney at the ESPN WORLDWIDE SPORTS COMPLEX and also discover the many attractions Disney and Florida has to offer.
